Your donation helps:
Keep our recreational and competitive team programs for kids K-12 affordable. MVN program fees are approximately half of other comparable PNW and Intermountain West youth programs.
Provide scholarships to families that may need additional support in order to get and keep their children involved in nordic skiing.
Offer a free six-week after-school program for children in grades K-2 in partnership with Methow Valley School District.
Facilitate summer training camp opportunities that are open to U16+ skiers from around the PNW.
Offer a low-cost youth biathlon program - the only program of its kind in the PNW!
Provide free transportation to children from school to the trails for after-school practice as we recognize that transportation can be a barrier to participation.
Provide free van transportation to high schoolers for regional races which cuts down on family costs associated with racing (plus loads of team bonding happens in the van!)
Offer low-cost weekly adult group classes that foster learning and build connection.
Groom the McCabe Trail system next to our local public school which enables our team to practice there and provides groomed trails for the school district to utilize for PE/Outdoor Recreation classes.
Host a range of community nordic events and races throughout the year that brings people together and supports our local economy by providing visitors with yet another reason to travel to the Methow Valley.
